camping in winter?

Answer
I camp year round in my RV with my wife. We are fulltime RVers and enjoy it. We hope to be in Florida when winter arrives but are prepared to stay where ever we may be.

Last year we drove to Alaska, leaving the US in early May, returning in late September. Traveling on the Alaskan Highway, again early May, North of Dawson Creek, BC we encountered quite a bit of snow. When someone from Florida sees snow on their windshield, it's a blizzard.

We stayed in quite a few rest stops on the way up since most campgrounds were closed or had frozen water pipes. Again some of the areas we coverin Alaska were at higher elevations and again we saw lots of snow. Many people may not think RVing is camping but most "Campgrounds" are set up for RV's.

Winter tent camping, think of all the mountain climbers going up Mt. Everest, now that's winter camping.

How much does a holiday camping ground make per year?

I have a feeling they make alot of income, as people pay sometimes up to $80 a week for a small 3x3 meter unpowered site. I was wondering if anyone knew the average income of one.
