Australia Camping Places?

I was watching this guy on Youtube who is exploring Australia. He was camping out and such. There was footage in his video that when they woke up and came out of their tents there were little kangaroos. He was able to go up and pet them and they followed him around! What are some good camping places to see/pet or just see some non-dangerous animals? And where can you camp to have little kangaroos hanging around?

We went camping in Exmouth along the ningaloo coast and that happened to us and it is beautiful spot to visit and camp.
Another time we went for a picnic in an area along the coast and I gave a female kangaroo with a joey my left over bread the next morning she was outside my tent even thought we were a fair way away from where I first saw her I couldn't believe she found us.
