how safe is it? I want to camp out and not at a campground. unfortunately the only places youre allowed to camp in my state are campgrouds. if i went to a state park and put up a tent away from a trail how likely is it id get in trouble

Stealth camping in Cape Cod?
Q. A friend and I want to go camping on, or around a beach in cape cod, but it seems that there arent any beaches that allow this. Does anyone know of any small, or little known beaches where we can just pitch a tent for the night?

If you camp illegally on the beach you will get caught. The beaches are patrolled regularly throughout the night to catch illegal campers. You will each get a ticket and be made to immediately pack-up and leave. If you are under 18 you will be taken to the station and held for your parents to come and get you.
