good tent for camping with baby image

Do I need to bring any tools to set it up? And is it hard setting up a tent that is 14" X 12"? If you have any helpful hints that would help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm guessing its a wall tent...You'll need a small axe or baby sledge to drive the stakes with. set the corner poles first tie one line at an angle then the other and stake them, ..once all four corners are up , place ridge pole down center and then the end poles, now you can set just one line on each corner instead of the two you already have. once you start to put this up you'll see what I mean!..one guy can do this , although it's better with two!...Always try and figure a way to do every thing your self ....you might have to some time!...LUCK!!!!

What advice do you have for camping with a baby?

I want to go camping for 3 nights in June. What advice do you have for bring a 14 month old baby? I just want him to be comfortable and happy but I don't want to bring the whole dang house with us!

We took our daughter camping last year, and she was about the same age. Make you have a tent big enough for a play pen. We brought our daughters play pen and it was a life saver. Also lots of comfy blankets, their favorite toy and blanket. we brought a blow up mattress for ourselves. It was great because one of the nights she wolk up and crawled into my sleeping bag. She didnt have to sleep on the hard ground with me because we had the blow up mattress. We also brought lots of extra clothes. The place we stayed at had showers, so we brought soap and shampoo to get her cleaned up with. Life jackets are a must (if your close to water). We brought lots of snack food, her own flashlight, things just to make her comfortable and happy.
