I have never been camping before and I am going to spend a week tenting in the Poconos in August. I am not sure how much or what I should bring and I don't want to forget anything important!

Is there a good place to rent a cabin in the woods and go camping in the northeast?
Joe
I live in CT and I want to rent a cabin in the woods and go camping with some friends. I know of campgrounds where you can pitch tents but that is not exciting enough. Any ideas?
