My friends and I are going to attend a music festival this weekend. What shold we bring?

Answer
There are some essential items for a music festival. Bring them and enjoy your weekend!

1. Camping gear
Camping gear is the most basic thing you need for a music festival. A camping tent (pop up tent is ideal if you donât want to mess around with tent poles), a sleeping bag, an air mattress and some duct tape in case you need to make a repair. Itâs wise for you to practice setting up your tent before you leave so that you will know what to do when you get there and can focus on having fun.

2. Mobile phone
There are always many people attending the music festival so your group is undoubtedly going to get split up. In that case you will need to use your mobile phone to find your friends. Bring your mobile phone and make sure it is fully charged.

3. Medical kit
Bring a medical kit with anti-septic wipes, bandages and plasters for any scrapes and grazes. Add in some anti-diarrhea medicine and painkillers just in case.

4. Bin bags
Bin bags here not only serve to place outside your camping tent to hold the trash. If it rains, you can use one as a poncho by creating arm and head holes. You can also use it for wet or dirty clothes to prevent them from contaminating everything else in your bag.

5. Toilet roll
Portable toilets at festivals are always awful. It is almost impossible to find one with toilet roll. Make sure you bring plenty of toilet rolls. Take too much rather than too little. Then you can always clean yourself up.

6. Sun cream
In summer, sun cream is a must that you should bring along to a music festival. Standing outside in the baking sun all day will make your skin end up scorched, leathery and extremely sensitive if you donât take any protective measures. So, take care of yourself while enjoying the fun of music festival.

When going camping, what all should I bring?

My boyfriend and I decided it'd be a great idea to go camping in the middle of Feb. We were wondering if there are little things we might forget and really regret when we got there. Here are some of the things we've already talked about. Extra-warm clothes, fire wood, a cooler with sandwich making products, our shower stuff. He's been camping before, but I haven't, and I like to be freakishly prepared. I'll let the voters decide who's been the most helpful!

Check at REI or Hudson Trail Outfitters or other outdoor equipment stores or their websites. Also ask at your local library for camping how-to books. They will probably have lists of gotta have and good-to-have gear. A lot depends on how you are camping (tent? trailer? alone? campground?) and where you are (Florida? North Dakota? mountains? desert?) Please tell me you're not backpacking with a cooler and firewood.

Keep your food secured from animals -- from rats to bears, depending. Don't keep your food where you sleep. Also, clean up all food scaps and put them in an animal-proof garbage can at the campground, burn them, or bury them at least 50 feet from your camp.

Clothing -- rely on layering rather than a heavy garment. The outer layer should be wind and rain proof. Avoid cotton; it sucks up sweat and chills you off. Go with wool or polypro.

Wear a wool cap that can pull down over your ears. Also, wool sox for your feet.

Have on you at all times while anywhere away from camp a lighter, a small flashlight, a canteen or water bottle and a whistle. I kid you not.

Toilet paper. Never rely on anyone else for toilet paper.

Gorp -- a trail mix of nuts, raisins, M&M candy. Cheap, portable, nutritious, high-calorie.

There is some evidence that sexual activity attracts bears. Sorry about that.
