Camping like anything else is what you make it. I agree with some of the comments already posted. In the summer it's the pits, sleeping is terrible in a tent in hot weather..but now you can buy a fan to put inside. Not having the luxury of a bathroom is pretty hard especially on us ladies, so my husband and I conquered that problem by buying a Cabela's bath enclosure and a porta-potty. It came with a bag for a sun shower, and is large enough to shower and dress in.
We always try to pick a campground that has activities in it ..or near it, so now we have the option of hanging around and swimming or going into the movies in town or sightseeing.
We also usually go with friends, that can make it much more enjoyable.
If you go with a positive attitude I'm sure you will enjoy it, maybe not the first time..but the 2nd or 3rd you will know what to expect and rrelax and enjoy it.

Our kida are still you and we need a tent that has three rooms that isnt to expensive....just wondering if anybody has seen anything???
