Camping in the Guadalupe River in Texas?

I'm looking for a camp site in New Braunfels for this weekend and was wondering which one is a good one to stay at. Iâm taking about 8 adults and 2 children. We will have one tent and one vehicle. I just want a nice place by the river thatâs not too shady and run down. Thanks in advance =D

on The guadalupe river... I would like to find information on cabins there, but when I do searches all I find are uber fancy resort-type cabins... I just want a simple-basic cabin, kinda like so we can "camp out but without the tents".... any suggestions?
