best tent camping lake texoma image

Hello, I am looking for a nice campground close to Dallas,TX (between one and 4 hours away) my friend and I want to go camping (tent) so we are looking for something where there won't be a lot of people.
Any suggestions?

Anything close to Dallas is going to be packed. But if you don't mind driving a little, there are some really nice spots not TOO far away. Lake Texoma is pretty nice, and very close.
If you're staying within 4 hours then you can reach almost anywhere in the Ouachita Mountains in southeast Oklahoma or southwest Arkansas. . . you'll find all the pretty scenery and whitewater rivers and solitude you like in those places. There are too many campsites to name, but I personally like Albert Pike/Little Missouri Falls in Arkansas for camping.
Might also think about Big Bend or the Devil's River in west Texas, and the Hill Country is always pretty.
